Update your website by adding a Twitter feed.
Update your website by adding a Twitter feed.

You’re busy. We’re all busy with a different world. You have a website but you don’t have time to update your pages all the time. You have a life.

Here is how to update your website from your phone. You can add your Twitter feed in two steps. You need to copy and paste the code on this page. Then replace our-twitter-name with your-twitter-name. Everything in your Twitter account will repost automatically.

Let’s get started

Grab this piece of code. It is code, but don’t be scared. Just copy and paste it.

<div style="width:220px;"><a class="twitter-timeline" href="https://twitter.com/bytique" data-chrome="nofooter noborders">Tweets by @bytique</a>
<script>!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0],p=/^http:/.test(d.location)?'http':'https';if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src=p+"://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");</script></div>

Just copy and paste it where you want it on your website. You will choose the “custom HTML” block in WordPress Gutenberg. I put mine in the sidebar, so it shows beside all of the blogs. Where you put it is up to you.

Log into your website and go to “widgets” and find the “Custom HTML” widget. Paste your code there. Make two changes. Change these two places: replace “/bytique” with “/your-twitter-name”

Change 1: Replace /bytique with /your-twitter-name

and replace @bytique with @your-twitter-name. Save. You are done.

Change 2: Replace @bytique with @your-twitter-name

When you are done, it will show the recent twitter feeds to your page, post, or sidebar with a widget. Here is the twitter feed of one of my clients.
